Add 3 to 3% cups sugar and boil for 6 minutes (rapid boil). Remove from heat, bottle and seal. GREEN TOMATO MINCEMEAT 4 qts. chopped green 2% lbs. brown sugar tomatoes 1 cup vinegar 4 qts. water 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 qt. chopped apples 1 tbsp. cloves 1 lb. chopped suet 2 tsp. nutmeg 1 lb. seeded raisins 1 lb. mixed peel Wash tomatoes, chop finely, drain off any liquid. Add water. Simmer one hour. Let stand overnight. Drain off Liquid. Add all remaining ingredients, but spices, in order listed. Simmer 2 hours, stirring frequently. Add spices, bring to a boil.
