Bleach any remaining stains with 3% hydrogen peroxide (1 part to 20 parts water solution). Rinse. Other washables — Wash in lukewarm suds. Use nonin- flammable dry cleaning solution to remove any grease. Nonwashables — Sponge with carbon tetrachloride. Use peroxide or cold water. Cotton or Linen — Pour boiling water through stain, If not removed, bleach with 3% peroxide (1 part to 20 parts water). Rinse well. Do not use soap first as it may set the stain. Other washables - Soak in warm water. Wash in rich detergent suds. Use peroxide on stubborn stains. Non-washables — Sponge with warm water. Use carbon tetrochloride. Cotton or Linen — Soak in cold water. If ice cream is fruit or chocolate, treat as such. Wash in warm suds and rinse well. Other washables -— Sponge in cold water. Wash in luke- warm water with lots of suds. Non-washables — Same as for chocolate. Cotton or Linen ~ Soak in cold water. Wash in hot suds. Do not use hot water first as will set stain. Other washables — Sponge with cold water. Wash in lukewarm suds. Non-washables - Sponge with carbon tetrachloride.
