Marr’s SALAD DreEssSING REcIPE Book 15 TURKEY SALAD 2 cups cold turkey, diced small Sprinkle with Marr’s Salad Dressing and let stand about three- quarters to one hour. Mix together the following: 11% cups celery, cut fine 11% tablespoons each of green pepper and pimento 2 tablespoons grated raw carrot 1 teaspoon scraped onion (if liked) Vg cup roasted nut meats (preferably almonds but others are nice) Salt and pepper to taste 24 Cup diced pineapple (if available) Mix lightly with Marr’s Wonder Whip or Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing. Add turkey and toss together lightly. Pile on crisp lettuce leaves. Garnish with cress, gherkins, olives, grated carrot. Serve with Cranberry jelly. Mrs. J. Harrison, Auburton, Sask. HALLOWE’EN SALAD Lettuce or salad greens Maraschino Cherries (if available) 3 red apples 1 cup sliced celery Walnuts Marr’s Old Fashion Salad Dressing or Marr’s Wonder Whip Salad Dressing Line salad bowl with lettuce. Arrange thinly sliced apples and celery in concentric circles in bowl. Heap Marr’s Salad Dressing in centre. Garnish with cherries and walnuts. Mrs. J. Jack, Winnipeg, Man. COMBINATION SALAD 1 cup apple, diced 1 cup celery, diced 1 cup beet, diced Salt and pepper to taste Mix well with Marr’s Salad Dressing.
