CHOCOLATE ROLL 6 squares semi-sweet chocolatel¥%4 cups crushed graham wafers 5 heaping tbsp. butter 1 cup chopped nuts 2 egg whites 30 colored marshmallows chopped 2 cups icing sugar Coconut 2 tsp. vanilla Cream the butter, add the melted chocolate. Add egg whites, sugar and vanilla and beat. Then add the graham wafers, nuts and marshmallows. Make about 4 rolls, roll in cocoanut. Wrap each one in waxed paper and slice like cookies as you use them. Keep in freezing com- partment always. Mary Joan Yates JELLY ROLL 4 egg yolks 2 cup sugar Yq cup sugar Y4 cup cake flour Y2 tsp. vanilla 4 tsp. salt 4 egg whites 1 tsp. baking powder Beat yolks with 4% cup sugar and vanilla. Beat whites with rest of sugar. Fold these together. Fold in sifted dry ingredients. Bake in large shallow pan lined with wax paper at 325 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Turn on to wax paper sprinkled with icing sugar and re- move wax paper in which cake cooked, roll until cool. Unroll, spread on filling and reroll.
