Heat soup and milk, salt, pepper and onion to simmering point. Add curry powder; try 2 tsp.; add more if hotter curry if preferred. Add shrimp. Leave long enough for shrimp to heat through. Serve on cooked rice, toast or in patty shells. Gladys Howe SOUP-ER BURGERS 1 1b. minced beef 4 tsp. mustard (optional) 10 oz. vegetable soup ¥% tsp. salt (1 tin) Dash of pepper 4 Cc. grated onion 2 tbsp. ketchup Brown meat in frying pan. Add onion, soup, salt and other ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes. Place on hamburger bun and serve open or closed face. Serves 4. Finely 1 c. cracker crumbs chopped green onion 2 beaten eggs Dash of oregano 1-8 oz. can seasoned Dash of thyme tomato sauce Chilli sauce or 14 tsp. salt ketchup Dash of marjoram Combine all ingredients except chili sauce. Mix well. Shape in a loaf in a shallow baking dish. Score the loaf by pressing top with handle of wooden spoon. Fill the score marks with chili sauce. Bake in a moderate 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
