Shape into a loaf. Place in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool, then slice. Spread flat and on it put: 1 slice of onion lL slice of bacon Ll slice of dill pickle Then season with salt and pepper, roll up and put to- gether with 2 or 3 toothpicks. Rub well with brown sugar and H.P. sauce and let stand for 20 minutes, Make a bread crumb dressing and roll steak around it. Bake in a mod- erate oven. Slice the onions fairly thin into the pastry lined plate. Then sprinkle with flour and add a little milk. Season with salt and pepper and crown all with 3 or 4 dabs of butter.
