DREAM CAKE
2 tbsp. icing sugar 2 cup fruit mixture dates,
1 cup flour cherries, raisins
¥Y2 cup butter 1 cup white sugar
2 eggs , 1 tsp. baking powder
Y2 cup chopped walnuts -Y2 cup coconut

2 tbsp. flour
Mix the sugar, flour and butter, spread in ungreased pan.

Top with the 2 beaten eggs mixed with walnuts, fruit, coconut

and dry ingredients.

WILLIAM TELL CAKE

4 cup butter or margarine ¥4 cup sugar
egg ] tsp. vanilla
142 cups sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. nutmeg VY tsp. salt
24 cup milk

Mix all the ingredients together well. Place in a pan.

TOPPING FOR CAKE:
1 cup apples chopped
¥3 cup sugar
] tsp. cinnamon
Place the topping on cake and bake for 25 minutes at 375°.
Serve warm with whipping cream.

DAISY CAKE
2 eggs | 1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup sugar 4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla , _ Ya cup milk,
1 cup cake flour 1 tsp. butter ,
TOPPING 2 tbsp. milk or cream
3 tbsp. butter YQ cup coconut
5 tbsp. brown sugar Y2 cup chopped nuts (optional).

Beat eggs, add sugar gradually and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients
together, add to first mixture. Heat milk with butter, pour into bat-
ter and beat.

Put into oiled square pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350°.

Mix topping ingredients and bring to boil. Spread. on cake,
when finished baking and return to oven until lightly browned.
