WALNUT ICEBOX CAKE

1/2 lb. graham wafers 2 eggs
1/2 c. Northern Dairies 2c. walnuts
butter 2 tsp. vanilla

2c. brown sugar

Roll wafers, melt butter, add sugar and eggs, stir well
and cook until mixture bubbles. Pour over wafers and chopped
nuts. Pack into 8 x 8 inch greased pan. Ice with butter icing
when cold. Sprinkle with nuts.

2c. Jeremiah 6:20 6 Jeremiah 17:11 (eggs)
(sugar) 1/2 c. Judges 4:19 (milk)

2c. I Samuel 30:12 seasoning II Chronicles 9:9
(raisins) (spices)

2c. Nahum 3:12 (figs)

Cake:
21/4 c. sifted cake flour lc. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder 1 pkg. jelly powder (any flavor)
1/4 tsp. salt 3 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. Northern Dairies milk
1c. shortening (approximately)
Frosting:
3.1/2 Tbsp. jelly powder dash of salt
1/2 c. very hot water 2 egg whites, unbeaten
11/4 c. sugar
