When done, stone _ the canned fruit, add a little more sugar and thicken a little with corn starch. Beat the whites of 2 eggs stiff, add 1%4 cups sugar, spread over the top, and put in oven to brown. Serve while slightly warm. Whipped cream may be added with advantage in place of meringue. Chocolate Pie Made exactly the same as Cream Pie, adding half cup melted chocolate. Scrape or grate the chocolate into a dish and place over steam, and when melted stir into pie while same is cooking. Cocoanut Pie | The recipe for Cream Pie may also be followed for this, by adding a cup of grated coccanut, stirred in just before taking off stove.
