Add the apple- sauce, the flour sifted with the salt, soda and spices and the raisins. Sprinkle the top of cake batter with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Sift together the flour, salt, soda and spices and add to raisin mixture. Mix well together and pour into greased tube pan and bake 50-60 minutes or in a 9"'x12" pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until firm on top when touched with the finger.
