LAGER/LIME

2 tbs. (1 oz.) lime juice (fresh or reconstituted)
1 (12 oz.) can or bottle of lager beer (chilled)

Pour lime juice into large (12 - 16 oz.) beer glass. Add lager. Serves 1.
Try “Wink” as the mixer for a gin or white rum drink.

WARM UPS FOR COLD DAYS
HOT BUTTERED RUM

Blend together:
4 tbs. butter ¥% tsp. nutmeg
¥% cup brown sugar ¥, tsp. cinnamon

Preheat a large mug, and put in a heaping teaspoon of the butter-sugar
mixture.

Add a jigger of dark rum. Fill up with hot water. Stir and serve.

“Trader Vic’ has an acceptable Hot Rum Mix that keeps well. Good with
rum or brandy.

One double whiskey

Juice of half a lemon

One dessertspoon of honey
A pinch of cinnamon
Boiling water to taste
