Marble Cake 1 cup sugar 4 eggs yolks 134 cup flour 1 cup water 1 cup sunflower or vegetable oil 2 t. vanilla 1% +t. baking powder Beat up the whites from 4 eggs. Sugar and egg yolks mix together well. Add water and vegetable oil and flour with baking powder. Mix everything well and add beat up whites of eggs slowly at the end. Pour dough in the well greased form and leave out about 1 cup cf dough in small bowl. Put 1 t. of cocoa in the small amount of dough and mix well. Slowly pour cocoa dough on the middle of cake or around in the cricle. Bake at 350 deg. F. in the oven for about 40-45 mins. Mrs. Zdenka Goba Ste. Rose, Man. Dream Cake 1 pkg. (2 layers size) cake mix — white, yellow or devel’s food 1 envelope Dream Whip (not whipped) ? 4 eggs 1 cup cold water Combine cake mix, dream whip, eggs and water in a large bowl. Blend ana then whip at high speed for § minutes. Pour into greased-floured tube pan and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cool cake for 15 minutes in pan then remove from pan. When cool, ice with Fluffy Frosting. Mrs. B. Delorme Ste. Rose, Man. Fluffy Frosting 1% cup cold milk 1 pkg. Instant Pudding, any flavor 1 envelope Dream Whip Pour milk into deep narrow bottom bowl. Add pudding mix and Dream Whip. Beat slowly with electric mixer until well blended, then at high speed until mixture forms soft peaks, about 5 or 6 minutes. Spread on cake. Chocolate Icing Frosts two 8’ or 9"’ layers or a 13’'x9"’) Y4 cup melted crisco, butter or margarine Y3 cup cocoa Y3 cup milk Y4 t. salt 1% +t. vanilla 32 cups icing sugar (sift if lumpy) Combine melted crisco, cocoa and salt, then add milk and vanilla.
