Bowman of Sar- dis to express the case 2f his Board. This Mr. Bowman did, with the aid of Maps and* memoranda, along the same lines as at Huntingdon two days pre- viously. Mr, Bowman and his associat- es were not di&satisfied with the pro- posed route only because it would not touch Sardis, but because it would en- tail expensive engineering work and not adequately serve the districts tri- butary to it. Messrs. Eddy, Thornton and Storey expressed themselves along’ the same lines, Mr. Menzies of Chilli- wack thought the matter might safely be left to the Hon. E. D. Barrow, who as the man responsible for the succo-s oz the dyking scheme would assuredly see that the road was satisfact rly routed. After some discussion a resolution was passed for despatch to the Dennrt- ment of Public Works expressing dis- approval of the Moe route, and asking thorough re-consideration of the matter before work| was commenced, Other than those mentioned the fol- lowing were present: A.
