CHERRY NUT LOAF Mrs, B, Anderson lc brown sugar Butter, size of egg l egg 2 tsp, baking powder 1/2 tsp, salt 1 small bottle cherries , 2c flour pour juice into cup and 1/2 ce. walnuts fill with milk Cream butter, sugar and egg. Add dry ingredients and milk, Let stand 20 minutes, Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. CHERRY NUT LOAF Mrs, E, Fisher 2c, sifted all-purpose 3 Tbsp. cooking oil flour 1/4 tsp. almond extract le, sugar lc, maraschino cherries 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 ec. chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 ce, maraschino cherry 2 eggs juice 3/4 ec milk Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together into a mix- ing bowl, Beat eggs, cherry juice, milk, oil and almond ex- tract together with a fork, Stir into dry ingredients and beat hard until smooth (about 30 seconds), Stir in cherries and nuts, Spoon into greased loaf pan. Hostler 2c, flour Juice and rind of | orange 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 pkg. colored fruits 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 ec. walnuts ltsp. soda 1/4 c, candied cherries c, sugar 2 Tbsp, melted shortening eggs | Mix altogether with 1 full cup of boiling water.
