CRANBERRY-ORANGE BREAD - an easy way to make loaf with a tangy flavor. 2 cups sifted all-purpose 1 cup coarsely cut flour cranberries 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 11/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. grated orange peel 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 beaten egg 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. oil 3/4 cup orange juice Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Stir in cranberries, wal- nuts and orange peel. Combine egg, orange juice and oil together. Add to dry ingredients, stirring until just moistened. Bake in greased 94 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan in 350°F. oven 50 minutes or until done. Remove from pan and cool. PUMPKIN LOAF - moist spice loaf 3/4 cup rapeseed oil 1 tsp. baking soda 1 cup white sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs Li? tan. alt 1 cup canned pumpkin 1 tsp. cinnamon 1.1/2 cups. flour 1/2 cup raisins - optional Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a loaf pan. Mix 'the oil and sugar together. Add eggs and mix. Add remaining ingredients and combine. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours. WAFFLES 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tbsp. sugar 3 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 1: 1/2*tep. “ salt 1 1/2 cups milk 1/2 cup cooking oil Mix and sift dry ingredients. Combine eggs, milk, and oil. Beat slightly. Add this to the dry ingredients and beat at medium speed with mixer until well blended. Bake in a hot waffle iron for approximately three minutes or until steaming stops. Makes approximately six waffles.
