BRANDY BALLS

3 3/4 cup fine vanilla wafer crumbs 2 tsp. brandy flavouring

2 tbsp. cocoa 2 tbsp. water
1 cup finely chopped nuts powdered sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup 36 maraschino cherries

Grated semi-sweet chocolate
Combine crumbs, cocoa, nuts, syrup, flavouring and water; mix well.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on waxed paper, shape mixture into roll about 13"

in diameter and slice. Shape each slice around a cherry. Roll in ground
chocolate. Makes about three dozen sweets,

CHOCOLATE KISSES

Yield: 4-5 dozen. Boil for 3 mins, (not too high a heat or chocolate will burn)

1/2 cup cocoa 2 cups white sugar

1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup margarine or butter
Add to this:

3 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup walnuts

1 cup coconut 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well, Drop from spoon onto a sheet of waxed paper to cool. Work
quickly,
