Mix and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Icing:
1 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter vanilla

Bring to boil, mixing only until sugar is dissolved. Boil
2 minutes. Cool. Addvanilla. Beat until thickened. Add icing
sugar until of desired consistency.

LAZY LADY CAKE
4 eggs
Beat till light and frothy. Add gradually:

2 C. Sugar 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
2c. less 4 Tbsp. flour

Then add:

2 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Beat this well. Bring to a boil:
1c. milk 2 tsp. butter

Add this to batter while hot. Bake in ungreased pan 25
minutes in a 300 degree oven.

LAZY DAISY CAKE

2 eggs 2 Tbsp. butter

1c. sugar 1 c. sifted flour

1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. hot milk 1/2 tsp. salt

Beat eggs and sugar till thick. Add flavoring. Sift the
measured flour. Add baking powder and salt. Beat into above
mixture.

Heat milk to boiling point and add butter. Beat into mix-
ture and immediately pour batter into pan, and bake in moderate
oven about 30 minutes.
