EAGER BEAVER BRAN MUFFINS Myrna Eager Soak together for 5 minutes: 1-1/2 c. all bran 3 tbsp. molasses lve. milk 3 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 beaten egg 1/4 to 1/2 c. wheat germ (optional) Sift together: 1 c. all purpose flour or bran flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt Mix in: 1/3 c. brown sugar Add: 1/2 to 1c. boiled raisins or chopped dates (optional) Stir bran mix in only enough to moisten. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake 30 min. at 400F. Yield 12 large or 18 medium muffins.
