= - ' i L ‘ - = - , Ne. = = <. = CHICKEN CASSEROLE 1 1/3 c. precooked min. 1 tbsp. soy sauce rice 1 med. onion sliced 2 tbsp. butter or 2 tbsp. cornstarch margarine 14 c. chicken broth 1 med. green pepper 3 c. sliced celery cut in strips (4 c. walnuts or almonds 1 3~0z. can mushrooms, optional) drained 2 c. cooked chicken (cubed) 3 tbsp. liquid from mushrooms Melt butter in skillet, saute onions until tender. Stir in green pepper, celery, chicken broth and soy sauce. Add chicken and mushrooms. Mix cornstarch with Liquid from mushrooms. Stir into the chicken mixture. Add nuts and rice.
