cooked .

All vegetables grown above ground - salt before they are
cooked .

Put a piece of stale bread in cabbage when boiling. This
will lessen the disagreeable odor which comes from cabbage .

To keep moths out of blankets when not in use, scatter
slices of yellow soap in the folds and wrap well in newspapers.

To improve the flavor of tea, add a small piece of dried
orange peel to the teapot before pouring in the boiling water.

Moist table salt will remove egg tarnish from silver, as
well as coffee and tea stains from china.
