CRANBERRY MATCHSTICK RING

1 package lemon jelly powder
1 pint boiling juice from stewed cranberries, sweetened
2 cups celery, cut in matchstick pieces
l red apple, cored and cut in matchstick pieces
4 cup Marr’s Mayonnaise
¢ Br 14 lemon

Dissolve jelly powder in raid, cranberry juice. Add lemon juice.
Turn into ring mold. Chill until firm. Unmold on crisp lettuce.
Toss celery and apple matchsticks together with mayonnaise. Pile
in centre of cranberry mold. Garnish with additional mayonnaise,
chopped parsley or gherkins.

VEGETABLE SALAD

1 cup grated cabbage 1 cup cold, diced boiled carrots
1] cup finely cut celery 2 slices tomato
1 cup cold diced beets 1 cup cold diced potatoes

Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing or
Wonder Whip Salad Dressing

Mix cabbage, beets, carrots, potatoes and celery together.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve on lettuce. Top with Salad
Dressing and tomatoes.

POTATO SALAD

6 or 8 medium size potatoes 1 small onion
Pepper and Salt to taste 8 tablespoons Marr’s Salad Dressing

Boil potatoes with their skins on. When cooked peel them while
hot. Cut the onion fine and add to the diced creating If you have
3 or 4 slices of fat bacon, cut it in very small pieces and fry fairly
crisp. Add this to the salad. Mix all 1 together with Marr’s Old
Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing.
