MOULDED CREAM CHEESE SALAD. = tablespoons gelatin -1 cup shredded :pineapple 14 cup cold water % tb very mild cream cheese i cup hot juice, drained '% pint cream, whipped from canned pineapple — 1, cup orange Juice 1 teaspoon salt | Method—Soak gelatine in the cold water for 5 to 10 minutes. Pour the hot pineapple juice over the soaked gelatin and stir until it has dissolved. Cream together cheese, shredded pine- apple, dates, seasoning and orange juice. When the gelatin sclution is cool, combine it with the cheese mixture, then add the whipped cream, put in a ring mould, and place in a cool place to chill. The center may be filled with fresh fruit or crabmeat. Serve with whipped cream or a combination of whipped cream and mayonnaise. —Esther Westlind. TOMATO J ELLY Z oz. gelatine 1° bay leaf 1 cup cold water 14 medium onion - 1 teaspoon sugar > 1. tablespoon: - daca pa! cups tomatoes or: juice. Method—Soak gelatin in water 20 minutes.
