GRASS PERSPIRATION SCORCH Cotton or Linen — Scrub stain with rich suds and launder. Use bleach on stubborn stains. Other washables - wash with warm suds. Use 3% peroxide on stubborn stains. | Non-washables — Treat stubborn stains with solution of 1 part 3% peroxide to 20 parts water. Rinse well. Cotton or Linen — Wash in washing compound and water. Bleach in the sun, or with mixture of 1 tsp. sodium perborate to 1 pint hydrogen peroxide. Other washables - Sponge with warm soapy water. Colour may be restored by dapening stain and holding over fumes from an open bottie of household ammonia. Non-washables — Odor may be removed by light sponging With listerine. Cotton or Linen -— Moisten and expose to the sunlight. Hepeat several times. Bleach with 1 part peroxide to 20 parts water if necessary, then rinse. Other washables —- 4s cotton, but AVOID drying in hot sun. IDENTIFY THE STAIN TEST THE FABRIC If you are not sure of the nature of the stain or of your ability to remove it with the materials at hand, call your laundry or dry cleaner.
