A TRIBUTE TO OUR PIONEEK COOKS

When it was suggested to the Ladies Aid of the
Unitarian Church of Winnipeg, that they publish a |
cook-book as one of their fund-raising prcejecte, it |
krought back to mind nostalgic days of the past, when
no social functicn sponsored by the church council was
considered successful without the help of the Ladies
Aic to provide the refreshments. In tribute to those
women who, for over seven decades, provided hospitality
in such great measure, we should like to dedicate this
endeavor, and pass on the standards they set for ex-
cellence through selected recipes contained in this
booklet. |
