Cream butter, add sugar and beaten eggs, and combine mixture as plain cake. Roll in tube shape and wrap up tightly in wax paper. Place in ice box over night. Y% cup butter. 1 cup flour. 4 ounces cheese (any cream cheese). 4 teaspoon salt. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. 1 tablespoon cream. Method :—Cream butter and cheese together, add the sugar, cream, salt and flour. Mix well, chill in ice box overnight. Then roll out thin on floured board, cut into squares. Fill centre with tart jelly or with sugar, cinnamon and chopped nuts, fold over corners. Bake in a moderate oven 12 min., 325 F.
