been coming in exceptionally well of
late—and all the way from San Jose.
We cant help wondering whether
Vancouver's CNRV, with its 500 watts,
is getting that far south—and if so
what Californians are thinking of B. C.

Free Cooking Classes More
Popular Than Ever

Tuesday afternoons at 2.30 in the
auditorium of the B. C. Electric store,
Granville street at Dunsmuir, are being
particularly well attended these days.

At these free demonstrations Van-
couver women actually see how Miss
Agnes M. Reed and her assistants ap-
ply modern methods to the preparation
of new and interesting dishes.

An interesting feature is that every
woman attending not only sees Miss
Reed in action and hears her explana-
tions, but each woman goes home with
written instructions for the same. recipes
she has seen made on the platform.

The schools are well worth attending.
