SWEET AND SOUR MEAT BALLS - Annie Basham Temperature 350° for about 30 minutes i ib ground lean beef —=i1/8 tsp pepper 1/2 @¢ fine stale bread crumbs I tsp garlic salt 2 tbs: chopped oniom 1/2-tsp curry powder ll egg, beater Ll tbs parsley | 2/3/ ¢ milk 2 tbs salad oil Sweet and sour sauce Mix first 9 ingredients together, form into 30 balls, brown in fot oil, place im serving dish. Prepare sauce and pour over meat balls, Cover and put in frig till mext day. Bake and serve with rice. Sauce: Mix I/4 ¢ 7 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tts comnsterch in saucepan, stir in I/% ¢ vinegar, li ths soya sauce and juice drained from Il can pineapple tidbits. Bring to boil and stir till clear and thickened. Add pineapple and pour over meatballs. ; For colour add 1/4 ¢ diced green pepper and 1/4 ¢ pimento gerkins: 5 minutes before serving. Serves 6 - &
