SUET APPLE DUMPLING 1 1/2 cups flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup grated suet Put in bowl and mix, add enough cold water to make a dough. Roll out on floured board. Slice about 5 apples that have been peeled, in middle of dough. Cover with 1/4 cup sugar. Join edges and place in cheesecloth that has been floured, tie ends together and steam for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Keep water boiling and watch the pan doesn't go dry. Serve with milk and sugar. Serves about 4. Mrs. E. HEAVENLY DESSERT Angel Food Cake eggs cups sugar envelope gelatin 3/4 cup juice (orange & lemon) 1/4 cup water 1/2 cup sugar EDO Break Angel Food Cake into chunks. Put them into a deep cake pan oiled slightly with a vegetable oil. Pour over it the following mixture: 6 egg yolks beaten in 2 cups sugar and 3/4 cup juice, cooked in double boiler until it coats the spoon. Add the gelatin dissolved in 1/4 cup water. Fold in 6 egg whites beaten stiff, to which has' been added 1/4 cup sugar. Let stand overnight. Unmold, frost with whipped cream. - M. Dunsmore.
