LEMON LOAF
% cup butter 1 teasp. baking powder
l cup white sugar % cup milk
2 eggs grated rind of 1 lemon

Mix in order given and bake in 325 oven for l
hour. When taking out of oven pour a mixture of
% cup sugar and juice of 1 lemon on top.

COCOA DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE

In large bowl mix the following:

15 cups flour % teasp. salt
1% cups sugar 1% teasp. soda
& cup cocoa ;

Then add:

2/3 cup margarine melted (melt after measured)

2/3 cup sour milk

l teasp. vanilla

Mix well, then add another:
