Marr’s SALAD DrREssING REcIPE Book S CHICKEN SALAD 2 cups cold chicken 1 head lettuce 1] cup crisp celery Celery tips Salt and paprika Olives V4 pint Marr’s Salad Dressing Dice chicken, add finely chopped celery, season with salt and paprika, pour in Salad Dressing. Mix lightly. Pile mixture on cup shaped lettuce leaves and garnish with celery tips, stuffed or plain olives or any other colorful garnish desired. Mrs. A. F. Desrochers, Mariapolis, Man. TOMATO SALAD CUPS 6 firm ripe tomatoes Pulp from scooped out tomatoes 1 cup cream cheese 14 teaspoon prepared mustard 2 tablespoons chopped parsley V4 cup diced celery Pepper, salt and plenty of Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing Remove skins from tomatoes by blanching for one or two minutes in boiling water. Cut a thin slice from top of tomato, scoop out seeds and part of the pulp. Sprinkle inside of each tomato with salt, invert and chill. Just before serving, fill each tomato cup with the mixture prepared by mixing tomato pulp, cream cheese, mustard, celery and parsley, seasoning and Marr’s Old Fashion Salad Dressing. Place cups on crisp lettuce leaves and garnish with sprigs of parsley. Serve with an extra bowl of Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dress- ing. Mrs. W. J. Dixon, Oberon, Man. HARLEQUIN SALAD Arrange raw shredded carrots, finely sliced raw cauliflower, finely cut raw spinach, sliced radishes, raw turnip sticks, and sliced raw brussels sprouts in small dishes or bowls. Serve Marr’s Old Fashion Boiled Salad Dressing or Marr’s Wonder Whip Salad Dressing in a separate bowl, and allow each guest to combine a salad of his own choice. Mrs. R. Dickie, Winnipeg, Man.
