Palm milk 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) 2 0z. bitter chocolate or 2 Tbsp. powdered chocolate Combine sugar, syrup, milk, chocolate and salt ina deep pan and heat. Stir occasionally until sugar melts. Boil gently until "soft ball" stage (234 degrees) is reached. Add butter and boil one minute longer, Let stand until almost luke- warm, Beat until smooth and creamy. Add nuts and pour into a buttered pan to a depth of 1/2 inch or more. Mark in squares.
