Poultry Seasoning — Spice Islands, good. When space is limited carry
poultry seasoning because it is a combination of thyme, sage
marjoram, etc.

Chives — dried

Store spices etc. in small plastic pill containers

WINES

Most of us haven’t the space to store all the proper wines for each
recipe so we must ““make-do”’ with substitutes. A light dry sherry
can be used instead of white or red wines.

Brandy — is excellent added to fruit for dessert.

Rum — is essential for lacing tea or for a hot rum on cold wet days.

INSTANT FOODS AND MIXES

A few good ones to try are:

Lawry’s Spaghetti Mix and Stroganoff Mix

Lawry’s salad dressing mixes — especially the blue cheese one.
Sloppy Joe Mix

Betty Crocker Noodles Romanoff and Noodles Italiano.
Lipton’s Packaged Entree’s, i.e., Tetrazzini

Jello Instant Puddings

“Quick” Bran Muffin Mix

Idahoan Instant Potatoes — mashed, au gratin, and scalloped —
all good.

Royal Prince — Instant mashed yams

Kraft Sour Cream Mix — good for Stroganoff or on Baked
Potatoes.

“Real” Lemon or Lime Juice — for drinks or cooking.
