. 4 q | r HE a | aa oa | . | i a | Zz lUElCUe | a PORK CHOPS AND CABBAGE loin pork chops medium onion, chopped small clove garlic, minced cup tomato juice cup vinegar tbsp. soy sauce tbsp. brown sugar tsp. salt tsp. pepper cups shredded cabbage FRR RRPRR FS Put a little fat in heavy skillet, brown chops well on both sides. Lift out as they brown. Add onion: and garlic to drippings in skillet and cook gently until yellow. Return chops to pan. Combine tomato juice, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt and pepper and pour over all. Cover and Simmer 45 minutes or until chops are tender. Add cabbage (letting it lie on top of chops so it steams.) Cover and cook 10 minutes. Lift out chops. Toss cabbage in sauce and spoon over chops. Serves 4. Mrs. Catherine Burke
