Several ladies from Abbotsford attended. Corsages were presented by Mrs. George Runzer to Mesdames Yarwood, Knox, and G. Tench. A report of recent Presbytery conference was given by Miss Janet Fraser. Pro- ceeds of the afternoon amounted to $10. Musical selections were given by Mrs. Runzer. 2 The annual Huntingdon school picnic was held on the school grounds on Thursday. Sports be- gan at 9 a.m., lunch was served by the ladies of the Women’s In- stitute at noon. Ball games were played between the children and the winning team played the mothers. A hot dog sale was held for the benefit of the Junior Red Cross. On Friday, Tommy Ruben, Pro Ree chief instructor trans- ported the school teachers and children to the swimming pool at Abbotsford. A good time was enjoyed in swimming and play- ing ball on Jubilee grounds. Mrs. Bob Williams and daugh- ter and Mr, Young of Chilliwack visited friends on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George Runzer visited Chilliwack during the week. Mrs. C. Harper and family of Cloverdale visited Mrs. Shore and family at the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. A.
