Bake in loaf tin for 45 minutes at

1/4 cup white sugar

Pour over as it comes from oven:

4 cups cold water

1/2 cup butter
Cool and adds

1/2 cup corn syrup
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
