Add drained pineapple and when beginning to set, fold in remainder of ingredients. Put in your favorite jelly mold to set. This recipe makes 2 small or 1 large salad. Mrs. R. Cheney GINGER ALE FRUIT SALAD 2 Tbsp. gelatin lec. ginger ale 1/4 c. cold water lc. grapes 1/2 c, boiling water 1 banana 1/4 c. lemon juice 1 apple 2 Tbsp. sugar 2 oranges or 1 tin drained, 1/4 c. chopped nuts Mandarin orange slices Soak gelatin in cold water 5 minutes and dissolve in boiling water. Add lemon juice, sugar and ginger ale. Cut grapes into halves and remove seeds. Slice banana, peel and chop apple, and add oranges. When ginger ale mixture begins to thicken, fold in fruits and nuts. Turn into molds and chill. Serve on crisp lettuce leaves with Fruit Salad Dressing. Mrs. K. M. Lyons HONG KONG CRABMEAT SALAD 2c. crabmeat 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 2c. sliced celery 1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce 2c. bean sprouts 1/4 c. mayonnaise 11/2 tsp. salt lettuce 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper paprika and fresh parsley, for garnish Remove cartilage from crabmeat. Place all ingredients except lettuce in a bowl. Toss lightly. Serve on lettuce. Garnish with a dash of paprika and fresh parsley. Mrs. K, M. Lyons SISTER ACCIE'S SALAD lc. Dairyland sour cream lc. long shredded coconut 1 c. small Mandarin oranges lc. pineapple chunks, well lc. small marshmallows drained Mix all ingredients together; refrigerate a day before serving.
