CASSEROLE DISHES CABBAGE ROLLS WITH SWEET AND SOUR GRAVY 1 - 15 oz. tin tomato sauce 2 tbsp. ketchup 4% pkg. frozen onions 2 bay leaves salt and pepper 1 cup brown sugar 3 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice Mix well and pourover cabbage rolls. Bake, uncovered at 275 degrees for 3 - 4 hours, covering towards the end of cooking period. This recipe is improved if allowed to stand overnight in refrigerator. — CABBAGE ROLLS 1 lb. minced beef water 3/4 cup bread crumbs, more if desired 1 clove garlic, crushed salt and pepper to taste 1 egg 1 tbsp, chopped parsley Mix all ingredients well, adding enough water to make a soft consistency. Shape into balls and roll each in a leaf of cabbage, secure with toothpicks and place seam side down in oblong shaped casserole, cover with gravy.
