Add molasses. Pour boiling water over soda and add. Sift dry ingredients and slowly add to batter. Add beaten eggs. Beat mixture well. Bake in greased and floured 8" pyrex pan for 35 to 40 min. in moderate oven. lkce when cool. A few raisins added to this gingerbread makes a very nice spice cake.
