SUPPER - TIME

The words rang out - "supper-time!"" I watched as a
mother called her family to the table. They seemed to come
running from all directions. I sat down with them. Then she
said to me: "We do have one missing - he is with the Lord.

He died one year ago."

Then I thought on a future supper-time - the Marriage
Supper of the Lamb. (Rev. 19:7). If there is a vacant chair at
that supper-time, it will be an eternal tragedy. ‘Make your
calling and election sure,’ friend. (2 Peter 1:10). Get your
reservation to the most wonderful supper of the ages - the
Marriage Supper of the Lamb." (Rev. 19:9).

Christ Jesus is the author of your salvation. Believe in
him and accept him as your Saviour today. The world-shadows
lengthen fast. It will soon be supper-time.
