HONEY POUND CAKE

2 cup shortening 2: cups sifted all

14 cups raisins purpose flour

Z cup honey 24 tsp. baking powder

3 eggs well beaten i tsp. lemon extract

Cream shortening and add honey. Add beaten eggs and blend.
Stir in sifted dry ingredients, beat until smooth. Add
extracts and raisins, Bake in greased pan in 275 to 300
degree oven for 14 to 2 hours.

WALDORF ASTORIA CAKE

1 cup sugar 1 tsp. baking soda

1 cup mazola oil 13 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs 1 tsp. cinnamon

13 cups all purpose flour 2 cups grated carrots
4 tsp. salt + cup walnuts

Combine sugar and oil, add beaten eggs, then dry ingredients.
Beat well, fold in 2 cups grated carrots and walnuts. Bake
for 60 minutes in 300 oven in angel food cake pan.

Icing:

4,0z. Philadelphia cream cheese
4 1b. icing sugar

1 tbsp. butter

1 tsp. vanilla
