De- ceased had been nursing her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs, Golos at Kilgard, when she contracted the ‘flu. She returned to her home on Monday, and died that day. Mrs. Kerr’s sad demise severs another link with the past, Born in Kilmar- nock, Scotland, 49 years ago, she came to Clayburn in 1909, three years later than her husband. Surviving are her husband, three sons, Tom, Alex. and George at home, and two daughters, Mrs. M. Golos, Kilgard, and Mrs, Mut- ton, Los Angeles. Other relatives are her mother, three brothers and four sisters in Scotland, and one brother in Vancouver. The late Mrs, Kerr was a woman of kindly, hospitable nature, holding the respect and regard of all who knew her. The funeral was very largely attended, and conducted today from Clayburn United Church to St. Nicholas cemetery An abundance of beautiful wreaths was mute testimony of the esteem in which she was held.
