Make about a 1/4" lip on edge. 1/2 lb. hamburger 1/3 cup chopped onion cup chopped green pepper 1 8-0z. tin tomato sauce 1 6-oz. tin mushroom sauce salt, pepper and season to taste Partially brown hamburger in the onion and green pepper. Add remain- ing ingredients and let simmer (1/2 hour). Spread filling on dough and sprinkle with 1/4 - 1/2 cup grated cheese. Put into 400 - 450° oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. - Kath Senini. STUDANATS 1 pork hock 1 good sized onion Take from package of pickling whole allspice, 2 cloves, 1 whole bay leaf, 2 mustard seeds (small white ones), 3 pepper seeds (larger black ones), Tie spices in cloth and put in sauce» pan with pork hock. Cover with boiling water and simmer 3 hours or until juice becomes sticky and ready to jell. Then add 3 cloves of crushed garlic, salt, to juice. Re~ move hock, take meat from bone, flake and put meat back into juice. Remove spice bag and discard. Pour contents of saucepan into large shallow pan and refrigerate. Cut into squares when set and serve. When this is hot add chopped onions (garlic, too, if liked), green pepper and meats. Stir with fork, keeping meat separated in small pieces till all is brown. Then add soups and tomato puree, salt and pepper, chili powder and corn. When boiling again add yellow cornmeal by handfuls, stirring constantly until thick as for porridge. Pour into a well-greased deep baking dish. Dot with olives, pushing them into mix- ture s0 as not to show above. Sprinkle with grated cheese (1}#).
