Next morning add: 1 cup sugar 1 large tablespoon baking powder 14 cup shortening. 3 eggs (well beaten) 1 tablespoon salt 1 cup warm water Flour Mix stiff and punch down as it rises. BUTTER HORNS | - 1 cup mashed potato 14 cup sugar 2 cups lukewarm water 14 teaspoon salt 14 cup butter 4 egg yolks 2 Fleishman yeast Flour enough to make a soft dough. Method— Add butter to soft mashed potatoes and put through sieve, then add sugar and salt gradually, add 1 cup water and 2 cups flour. Beat yolks and add with yeast which has been dissolved in other cup of water, add to mixture. Let rise until quite light, then add stiffly beaten egg whites, then enough flour to make a soft dough, and let rise again till double in bulk. Roll . on board until about 14 inch thick.
