Lasagne Sauce: Ys cup oil 1 clove garlic 1 T. parsley 1 small onion Ye t. basil 6 oz. tomato paste 3 T. parmeson cheese 1% Ibs. ground beef Salt and pepper 1 large can tomatoes Brown and cook in large skillet 1 hour. Cook 1 10-0z. pkg. large lasagne type noodles. Mix together: 1 qt. cottage cheese 12 oz. mozarella cheese, grated 2 T. parsley 2 eggs 4 oz. parmeson cheese In large 9x13" pan, layer as follows: sauce, noodles, cheese and repeat. Pour a can of tomato sauce over the top. Bake at 350 till hot about 1% hours. Serves 8-10. This is a large recipe and may be halved, freezing the other half to cook later. Mrs. E. Barb-b-q-Spare Ribs 2 -3 Ibs. pork ribs Sauce: Cut up ribs in 1 or 2 inches 2 small onions chopped Salt and pepper In a heavy skillet or electric frying pan brown ribs in fat (butter or margarine) for ¥% hr. or until ribs are nice and brown evenly. Add 112 cup water and continue cooking for approx. 112 hr. stirring occasionally. Drain excess fat and cover with sauce and continue cooking for 1 hour or until ribs are done.
