CHOCOLATE CAKE Cook until smooth: * cup milk % Cup cocoa Cool. + cup butter ; % teasp. soda 15 cups sugar 3 teasp. baking powder 3 eggs - separated 2/3 cup milk 14 cups flour l teasp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar, add beaten egg yolks. Add cocoa mixture and vanilla. Add dry ingre- dients with 2/3 cup milk. Lastly fold in beaten egg whites. Bake 35 to 40 minutes in 350 degree oven. Pan size 9'' x 13'' or two 8'' layer pans. Beat butter until creamy, add sugar gradually and beat until fluffy. Blend in vanilla and eggs. Add oats mixture, mix well. Sift to- gether flour, soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Pour batter into well greased and floured 9!! Square pan. Bake in preheated moderate oven (375 degrees) for 50 to 55 minutes. Do not remove from pan.
