SWEET AND SOUR SPARE RIBS 2 1lbs spare ribs 3% tbsp cornstarch 1/3 cup vinegar % tsp salt %& cup water l cup brown sugar 3 tbsp soya sauce % cup ketchup 1 tsp accént or Cut spare ribs in 1% in. pieces. Brown and season with salt. Put vinegar sugar and water in saucepan and bring to a boil. Add spare ribs, co ver and simmer 40 mins. Add ketchup and soya sauce. Skim off any fat that floats on top. Add accent. Just before serving add cornstarch to thicken.
