Add brown sugar and beat well again. Add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, soda and add to creamed mixture, Mix well. Add coconut and oats and mix well, Make into rolls the size of walnuts. Roll in white sugar, flatten with hand and bake until golden brown, 10 to ll minutes at 325 degrees, These cookies can be dropped from a spoon omitting the sugar on top. OATMEAL COOKIES Ryan Johnson 2c. rolled oats l tsp. salt l large c. shortening 2c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda milk lc. brown sugar Blend together and wet with milk, about 1/2 cup.
