The meeting is called for 8 p-m., and number of topics are on the agenda for discussion. : te Grizzly Hunter Reports Successful Trip B, Sykes returned from Penny, in northern B.C. Tuesday, reporting ano- ther successful hunting trip. On this occasion he was guide for a New York banker, who returns East with an eight- foot grizzly skin to his gun. Mr. Sykes has guided Eastern sportsmen to the| big game belts up north for the past ten or twelve years, some of these men so delighted with their trips that they come west and engage Mr. Sykes every year. The traffic manager of New York Central~Railway is one of these, and has made arrangements for another trip this fall with Guide Sykes. oo Mrs, W. S. A committee of the Chilliwack Board has been delegated to bring this mat- ter to the notice of other Fraser Valley trade organizations, with a view to se- curing evidence which might strengthen the western contention for lower freight rates.
