Pineapple Desert Salad 1 T. unflavored gelatin Y2 cup cold pineapple syrup 2 egg yolks Y2 t. salt Y2 cup sugar Y, t. paprika 4/3 cup milk 1 cup crushed pineapple 1 cup whipped cream Soften gelatin in cold pineapple syrup. Beat egg yolks slightly. Beat in salt, sugar, paprika and milk. Cook over hot water, stirring constantly until mixture will coat a spoon. Remove from heat, stir in gelatin, chill until mixture is like unbeaten egg white. Fold in pineapple. Fold this into whipped cream. Turn into loaf pan. Chill. Mrs. Shirley Bouchard Ste. Rose, Man.
