Pineapple Desert Salad
1 T. unflavored gelatin
Y2 cup cold pineapple syrup
2 egg yolks
Y2 t. salt
Y2 cup sugar
Y, t. paprika
4/3 cup milk
1 cup crushed pineapple
1 cup whipped cream
Soften gelatin in cold pineapple syrup. Beat egg yolks slightly. Beat in salt,
sugar, paprika and milk. Cook over hot water, stirring constantly until mixture will
coat a spoon. Remove from heat, stir in gelatin, chill until mixture is like unbeaten
egg white. Fold in pineapple. Fold this into whipped cream. Turn into loaf pan.
Chill.

Ambrosia
Y2 pint thick sour cream a
can mandarin oranges, drained
can chunk pineapple, drained
cups miniature marshmallows
cup coconut
cup peaches, drained and diced
Mix and chill.

Half Hour Chocolate Pudding
1 cup flour
4/3 cup sugar
Y2 cup milk
Y2 cup nuts
2 t. baking powder
Yo t. salt
3 T. cocoa
4 T. butter
Mix until smooth, then pour the following over:
1 cup brown sugar
2 T. cocoa
2 cups boiling water (may be added more water, if more sauce desired)
Bake at 350 for 2 hour.
This is really good with ice cream on top or cream.
