a FRUIT CUP CAKES IS c. raisins 14 c. flour gC. shortening 1 tsp. cloves 4 Ce Sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon l egg 1 tsp. salt Cover raisins with water and simmer about 10 minutes. Cream together shortening, sugar and add other ingredients. Add raisin water to batter and then finally the raisins. Bake in a moderate oven (375°) in muffin pans. Cool and strain off water. Cream sugar and butters; add egg slightly beaten. Sift dry ingredients and add this mixture alternately with raisin water. Add raisins.
